Morrisons Colindale Store

In March 2016 leading UK supermarket chain Morrisons, completed the construction and opened to the public their new store in the area of Colindale, North London.

Ceramica Rondine Bristol Red brick 6x25 has been used in the following areas:

  • Public area: Facades in lifts areas
  • Food assisted sales areas: Bakery area - Fresh fish area - Butchery area

Morrisons wanted and achieved a modern, but still classic, ambiance which enhanced the feeling that customers were walking in a street through a traditional market.

The Architects Studio: Barton Egs together with Morrisons management selected Ceramica Rondine Brick Generation collection because of its natural look, surface and touch like a real brick combined together with the advantages in terms of durability, maintenance and hygiene of an impervious porcelain tile.
