Tradition and technology come together at Cersaie 2015

Tradition and technology come together at Cersaie 2015

Also this year, Ceramica Rondine will be a major exhibitor with numerous new proposals, at Cersaie, the most awaited event of the year, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings (Cersaie), scheduled to take place from 28 September to 2 October 2015 in Bologna.

The new surfaces were obtained with painstaking technological research that has allowed the development of totally new textures and effects, in addition to innovative formats and optimal solutions for personalised ceramic solutions throughout the home. The Brick Generation project, an exclusive novelty created by Ceramica Rondine, will be on display at the exhibition with a new proposal inspired by the production of bricks produced by hand in a furnace in London.
We are talking about the early 20th century: the surfaces are still uneven in colour. The charm of old hand-made bricks, with torch marks and blemishes in the glazing due to instable temperatures, is imitated in this porcelain stoneware collection with a boldly authentic feel, which is obtained using the most advanced technology in ceramic production.
In addition to the size 6x25, the London tile is also available in the new format measuring 13x25, which enables planners, architects and designers to achieve truly personalised solutions. 6 different colours can be used for totally unique colour combinations on the floor and walls.

At Cersaie 2015, it will also be possible to breathe the charm of the Venetian lagoon. With Bricola
in fact, the latest addition to the collection, Ceramica Rondine has succeeded in doing justice to the dreamlike and fascinating beauty of the lagoon around Venice. The symbolic element and source of inspiration for this item is the 'briccola', the typical wooden mooring posts that line the canals, providing important information. The symbolic strength of this wood and its particular worn appearance, rich in details, harbours the history of one of the most fascinating places in the world, which dates back to ancient times. The new porcelain stoneware by Ceramica Rondine reproduces the imperfect grains of these posts which are immersed in and corroded by the water, in large tiles measuring 30x120 and 20x120, both rectified.

At the booth of Ceramica Rondine it will also be possible for visitors to touch and feel the latest formats for themselves. The collections on display for the first time will include wood effect tiles in warm, traditional colours as well as more contemporary shades, in line with the latest trends in architecture and interior design. The stone-effect ceramic will also be on display in new blends: the creativeness of our designers has led to natural stone effect tiles with a combination of concrete, different textures and marble vein markings.
